Let’s talk tan

 

Like most girls, I love a good tan.. But unlike most girls, I hate tanning.. Don’t get me wrong I do tan in the sun, I just don’t like doing it. That’s why I really need a good selftan for those days I can’t drag myself into the sunshine or for when there simply is no sunshine. My quest to find the perfect selftan has finally come to an end!

 I HATE it when I get a new selftan, full of expectations, hopes and dreams that I will forever be a bronzed mermaid that looks like I came straight from the beach… But instead I look like I came straight from the Charlie and the chocolate factory movie set where I landed the awesome role of oompa loompa.

 Somehow fake tan just always turns out orange on me.. I’ve tried several different brands like Garnier, L’oreal and Marc Inbane. I even tried one from J-Woww… yeah I know what you’re thinking. You don’t want to look orange so you try selftan from one of the members from Jersey shore?

Well I was willing to try anything that had good reviews.. But none of them were a success..

I’ve been using this for the last couple weeks so I can tell you guys about my experience with it over a longer period of time.
First off.. the packaging.. it’s amazing and even just looking at it is like a treat. As soon as the lid is off you can smell the cream. It smells like lemon! 🍋 I really love the smell, it’s like a fresh scent that instantly gives me summer vibes.

My first impression was good, the packaging of YSL beauty is always gorgeous so this was no exception! 😍 I got shade “16 Nude Emblem”.

The first thing I noticed when I opened the lipstick was the applicator, I haven’t seen an applicator like this on a liquid before, so I was curious on how it would apply.
Because of the sharp edge at the top you can use it to line your lips as precisely as you would with a lipliner, so that makes this lipstick a huge plus. You basically get two products in one!

Mijn eerste impressie was goed, de verpakking van YSL beauty is altijd mooi en dit was geen uitzondering! 😍 Ik heb kleur “16 Nude Emblem”.

Het eerste dat me opviel toen ik de lipstick opende was het lip kwastje, dit heb ik nog niet eerder gezien bij een liquid, dus ik was benieuwd naar hoe het zou aanbrengen. Door het scherpe randje bovenaan dit product kan je het heel precies gebruiken, net als een lip potlood, dat maakt deze lipstick al heel fijn. Je krijgt dus eigenlijk twee producten in één!

I wanted to use this pen for covering dark circles, you can also use it to highlight depending on what color you choose.
